Shari Neufeld has been senior counselor in the Public Health Division at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center since 1996. She is an expert on work/life issues.
Her current responsibilities include managing client relations. She is a well-regarded consultant and trainer. Neufeld works closely with organizations in order to learn their culture and to develop programs that are tailored to their concerns and needs.
Some of the corporations to which Ms. Neufeld has presented workshops include Children’s Television Workshop, The Population Council, Lenox Hill Hospital, Sony Pictures, The Institute of International Education, Teachers College at Columbia University, and United Way.
Ms. Neufeld has led many management trainings at various organizations and has developed an assertiveness training program for managers focusing on issues such as effective communication, setting boundaries, and conflict resolution. Other innovative programming, she has developed include
Balancing Career and Family, Time Management, and Motivation at Work.
Ms. Neufeld holds a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology and Social Work; both are from Fordham University. She is a New York State Certified Social Worker. She received a BS in Public Programs and Management from Arizona State University.
