You can still ovulate while breast feeding


Some women mistakenly think that just because they are breastfeeding and menstruation has not yet resumed, that they cannot get pregnant. Although women who are breastfeeding are less likely to get pregnant, the possibility still exists. Ovulation can be reduced if breastfeeding is the exclusive method of feeding and is not supplemented by alternative sources and if feedings are short and occur more frequently.
